A violent carjacking that took place on the Montclair/Orange border has police on the search for the suspects at this time.
Police responded to the area of Orange Road and Coogan Ave. at around 2:15 p.m. on reports of a carjacking with an injured person.
Upon arrival to the scene, cops reportedly found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the face after being carjacked at that location.
A search of the area had police locate the unoccupied black Jeep Cherokee in the area of Thomas Boulevard and Burnside in Orange.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in an unknown condition.
