A Bloomfield teacher arrested over the summer for allegations that he downloaded Explicit Images of Minors has been suspended without, according to school officials.
Nicholas K. Schumacher, 29, of Randolph, the Berkeley Elementary School music teacher, has been suspended without pay, announced school officials during a board meeting.
Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced last month that Schumacher was arrested and charged August 24 after allegedly uploading Explicit Images of Minors from his home and work computers.
Superintendent Sal Goncalves did clarify during the meeting that there were no indication of any inappropriate contact with students.
