Police are searching for a silver 1998 Nissan Pathfinder that was carjacked at gunpoint late last night in the city's South Ward.
Cops were called to the 50's block of Clinton Place on reports of a carjacking in progress when they arrived to find the victim who reported that a 5'7" black male who appeared to weigh about 150 lbs., pointed a weapon and took the vehicle a short time before police arrived to the scene.
The victim reported that the suspect was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt and dark colored shorts when he fled in an unknown direction.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "UAF-11A"
There were no injuries reported.
