An investigation is underway into a late night shooting in Linden that woke residents out of their sleep.
Cops responded to reports of shots fired late Saturday night in the 1300 block of Lincoln Street where they arrived to find several shell casings.
According to initial reports, police searched the area for a victim (s) and shooter but the search came up empty.
