Police are on the scene of a shooting that has one person fatally injured at this time.
Gunfire rang out in the 200 block of South 11th Street a little after 7:45 p.m. sending cops to the scene where they found the victim suffering injury from gunfire.
Police are looking for a black male with long dreads and a slim build. The suspects was reportedly wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans, and a cap.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is handling the investigation at this time. This is the fourth homicide of the day in Newark.
