Newark police are investigating the theft of human remains from the mausoleum area of Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Newark.
Police responded to Mount Pleasant Cemetery around 3 p.m. today after the cemetery manager discovered that someone broke into a casket housed inside a mausoleum and took the remains.
According to reports, this is not the first theft at the mausoleum.
