Man Sought in Harrison Bank Robbery

Police are looking for a man that robbed a bank in the city on Wednesday morning. 

According to police the man walked into The Kearny Bank located at 534 Harrison Avenue at around 10 a.m. And robbed the place. 

Police said the suspect  handed the teller a handwritten note that he appeared to have written in the bank.

The note reportedly demanded cash and claiming of a weapon. 

The teller handed the suspect about $1300.00 in cash and then ordering the teller to give back the note. 

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 6’03” with a full beard and a navy blue baseball cap. He was wearing a light blue, long sleeved dress shirt with blue jeans and dark shoes police said.
