A carjacking that happened in the city's East Ward has authorities in Newark investigating.
Police are looking for a 2014 Land Rover Range with a reported NJ license plate number "J68-8096" that was taken in the area of Thomas Street and McCarter Highway ast around 2:30 p.m.
The suspect was only described as a black male. It is not immediately clear if the suspect was armed with a weapon.
There were no injuries reported.
