Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of Marquet Dorsey, 30, of Newark.
Authorities said, on Oct. 7, 2014, at approximately 9 pm Dorsey was shot to death while sitting in his vehicle which was parked in front of 5 Thomas Avenue in Newark.
Dorsey was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In the photographs shows one of the suspects' vehicle and a second of the suspect moments before the murder.
The Essex County Sheriff’s Crimestopper’s Program is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
