Update: Woman has since died.
A woman was rushed to an area hospital after she was found at the bottom of a pool in the Elmora Section of Elizabeth.
According to initial reports, the 40-year-old woman, whom police have not identified, was rushed to Trinitas after going into cardiac arrest.
She was found unresponsive in a pool on the 1100 block of Edgewood Road shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
A crime scene was immediately setup.
The incident remains under investigation.
