A 28-year-old man found suffering from a gunshot wound Friday, died this afternoon, according to police.
Police responded to Sweets Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found Leon "Buddah" McClendon behind the wheel of the car suffering from a gunshot wound around 10:45 p.m.
According to officials, McClendon, died at about 2 p.m. today.
McClendon was transported to Capital Health System's Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The shooting remains under investigation.
