An early morning shooting that happened in the single digit block of Crescent Lane sent first responders to the scene at around 8 a.m. where they found a 6-year-old child injured from gunfire on the third floor of a building.
The child was transported to University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is expected to make a full recovery.
UPDATE: Police have placed a male in custody and charged him with the shooting.
