Authorities in Hillside are investigating a carjacking that happened early this morning in the city.
Police responded to the 200 block of Winans Avenue sometime around 4 a.m., where the victim told responding officers that he was approached carjacked by a black male who pointed a gun at him in his driveway.
Suspect fled west on Winans in the vehicle toward Liberty Avenue.
The vehicles is described as a 2006 Toyota RAV4 bearing NJ registration F75AJP.
