An Elizabeth police officer suffered non-life threatening injuries this morning during driving training at the former John H Stamler Police Academy in Scotch Plains, according to county officials.
According to authorities, at approximately 10:04 a.m. today, an Elizabeth officer struck a guardrail during driver training.
The unidentified officer from Elizabeth Police Department was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick with non-life threatening injuries.
