A Rahway woman was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after she struck a parked car and the vehicle she was driving overturned, police said.
The driver, only described as a 59-year-old Rahway woman, of a 2004 Jeep Cherokee was travelling west near the 500 block of E. Elizabeth Avenue, when she struck a parked vehicle – a 2004 Ford Explorer – when she careened back into traffic and overturned Sunday morning at approximately 2:11 am
The driver was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway for undisclosed injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Traffic Bureau.
No summonses have been issued at this time.
