Acting Prosecutor Carolyn Murray and Irvington ‘s Acting Police Director Musa Malik are reporting a shooting homicide that occurred last evening on the 1200 block of Springfield Avenue .
Authorities said, a little after 10 :00 p.m. last evening, Irvington Police were called to the 1200 block of Springfield Avenue in the township on a report of a shooting.
Police found Icrish Bostic, 33 of Phillipsburg, N.J. unresponsive at the scene. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
The investigation is being handled by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Homicide Task Force. There is no current motive or suspects at this time.
