In a recent release from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, a shooting that happned in the teens block of Grace Street sent a man to the hospital with life threatening injuries on June 16, 2015 at around 5:15 p.m.
According to a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, the victim who has been identified as Brian Reynolds 21, of Irvington died from his injuries on June 18, 2015.
Several repeated request to obtain general information regarding this shooting from the Irvington Police Department was never returned.
The investigation into the fatal shooting is open and on-going according to the spokesperson.
