Police continue to investigate this morning the fatal stabbing of a 43-year-old Trenton man in a city apartment.
Police responded to the first block of Beakes Street around 9:45 p.m. For a report of a stabbing in progress.
Upon arrival, police found a man lying on the floor, bleeding from a stab wound to the abdomen.
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he succumbed to his injuries around 11:20 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force.
