A late evening discovery where two people were found dead inside a Newark South Ward house has authorities from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office investigating.
According to a spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office, police were called to the home located in the 30's block of Millington Ave. at around 7 p.m. where they discovered a male and a female dead inside the house.
The spokesperson said a preliminary investigation appears that the pair were married.
Residents in the area told RLS Metro Breaking News that the pair were always seen around the neighborhood walking a dog and appeared to be peaceful people at all times.
The spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said that they are awaiting the results of autopsies before releasing any other information.
