A fast moving fire that broke out on the upper floors of an apartment building early this morning sent firefighters to the Center City 9 complex located in the 40's block of West Kinney Street shortly before 1:15 a.m.
Crews arriving on the scene found fire in an empty apartment on the 3rd floor with reports of trapped residents.
Two people were rescued from an apartment as firefighters swiftly beat down flames that were contained to an apartment. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
There were no reported injuries.
