Police are investigating a brutal stabbing that left a man seriously injured overnight in the city.
Emergency crews were called to a bar located in the 400 block of Monmouth Street shortly before 2:30 a.m. where they located a male victim seriously injured suffering a stab wound to the abdomen.
EMS rushed the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition as of 5 a.m. this morning.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
There were no arrest reported.
