Passaic Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Connection with Clifton Shooting

Police have charged a Passaic man with attempted murder in connection with a weekend shooting in Clifton, police said this afternoon.

Joshua Bolano, 24, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a handgun for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Police also arrested 25-year-old Luis Rivera who has been also charged with aggravated assault.

Saturday, police responded to the 24-7 On the Go convenience store – located on the 300 block of Lexington Ave. - shortly before 4 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a male victim suffering a graze wound to the back of the head.  

According to a source, the victim was identified as Johan Gonzalez, who is one of three men arrested in connection to a shooting that killed two and left a third person in critical condition outside a nightclub in Passaic.
