Passaic County authorities are investigating a shooting outside a club in Passaic that left two people dead and a third person in critical condition this morning.
Multiple rounds of gunfire erupted in the area of Market Street and South Street at approximately 2:48 a.m. sending first responders to the scene where they found two people - a 22-year-old Paterson woman and a 24-year-old man - who were rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson with gunshot wounds to chest.
Shortly after both victims where pronounced dead, according to police.
A third victim, only described as 24-year-old man, was also shot in the chest and is currently in critical condition.
Police are looking for a silver or light colored 4-door vehicle occupied by a one person wearing a white shirt. The vehicle was possibly being chased and shot at by a dark colored vehicle.
The shooting remains under investigation.
