Authorities in Atlantic County announced that on Wednesday, March 19, Kareem Hall, 28, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to three separate cases, all involving the same victim.

He pleaded guilty to Strangulation of a Domestic Violence Victim, a second-degree offense, and two counts of Terroristic Threats, a third-degree offense, Atlantic County officials stated.
According to ACPO officials, Hall was already on probation for assaulting the same victim. His plea calls for an aggregate sentence of three years in New Jersey State Prison, requiring him to serve 85% of his sentence before qualifying for parole.
Atlantic County authorities say that on multiple dates in 2024, the victim, S.M., reported domestic violence incidents with the defendant.
On one occasion, she reported the defendant held her down and strangled her because she refused to have sex with him, and on two other occasions, she reported that he threatened to assault her, ACPO officials stated.
The Honorable Jeffrey Waldman, J.S.C., released the defendant pending sentencing, over the State’s objection.
Atlantic County officials say the defendant is scheduled to be sentenced on April 30.
