After weeks of bitter cold, Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to a much warmer start to the week, with spring-like temperatures expected to stick around for the next couple of days.
Good morning, New Jersey! It’s already 49 degrees in downtown Newark, with slightly cooler temperatures in the surrounding areas.
According to the National Weather Service, skies are clear, and as the day progresses, temperatures will climb into the 60s, making for a fantastic afternoon.
- Today: Sunny, with a high near 63 degrees. Light west wind around 7 mph.
- Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 41 degrees. Light southeast wind becoming calm in the evening.
With mild weather ahead, it's a great time to get outside and enjoy the warmth. Have a wonderful day, New Jersey!
