Authorities in Paterson are investigating a stabbing incident that left one person injured on Monday night.
According to officials, St. Joseph’s Medical Center notified police at approximately 8:55 p.m. after an unidentified individual arrived at the emergency room suffering from stab wounds.
The victim told police that the stabbing took place near the intersection of Main Street and Market Street. 
However, authorities have yet to confirm the exact location of the incident.
At this time, no suspects have been identified, and the circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain under investigation.
Further details have not been released.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
