Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to a refreshing break from winter’s grip, as temperatures climb well above freezing this Tuesday morning.

After last week’s brutal cold, the warmer air is a welcome change for residents heading out early.

Good morning! If you're stepping outside for work, school, or errands, you’ll still want to grab a coat, but today will feel much milder.

A taste of spring continues throughout the day, with temperatures expected to rise into the mid-50s.
