Jersey City police are searching for several suspects involved in an armed robbery at a local gas station around midnight on Wednesday.
According to preliminary reports, officers responded to a Shell gas station in the 1000 block of Communipaw Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery at gunpoint.
Employees told police that a vehicle carrying approximately three individuals pulled up to the station.
One of the suspects brandished a firearm, pointed it at the attendant, and announced a robbery.
It is unclear how much cash was stolen before the suspects fled the scene northbound on Route 1&9.
No physical injuries were reported, and the investigation remains active as police work to identify and locate those responsible.
Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
