Authorities in Orange are investigating a pre-dawn shooting that left one person injured on Monday.
According to police, officers responded to reports of gunfire on Hillyer Street in the early morning hours.
Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to University Hospital, where he is receiving treatment and is expected to recover. 
No arrests have been announced, and the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
Police continue to search for suspects and urge anyone with information to come forward.
