According to a statement released by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, a missing woman was found deceased in Haverstick Park on Saturday, February 8. Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Matthew Geist of the Middlesex Police Department announced that Jennifer Panek, 38, of Middlesex, was first reported missing on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Authorities responded to the report at approximately 3:22 P.M. and conducted a search throughout the evening but were unable to locate her.
The following day, at around 2:23 P.M., a concerned citizen discovered suspicious items in Haverstick Park and contacted 911.
Upon arrival, authorities found Ms. Panek unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death, which remains undetermined at this time.
