Authorities in Mercer County are investigating the circumstances surrounding a stabbing that left a man injured in Trenton on Tuesday night.
According to police, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Hamilton Avenue shortly before 11:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from stab wounds to his stomach and chest.
Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains active. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
