Governor Phil Murphy has declared a statewide state of emergency for New Jersey, effective at 8 a.m. In anticipation of a winter storm, Sunday is expected to bring significant snowfall to parts of the state. The National Weather Service predicts that northern New Jersey could see between 6 to 8 inches of snow, with most areas in the region expected to receive at least 4 inches.
Residents are urged to plan their day accordingly and exercise caution if travel is necessary.
The state of emergency allows authorities to mobilize resources and respond quickly to any issues caused by the storm.
Officials remind everyone to stay updated on weather conditions and follow safety guidelines during the storm.
