Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Quanazia Bennett, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery that took place on Sunday, December 15.
According to information released by the New York Police Department, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. emphasized the importance of community involvement in helping to resolve this case.
The incident occurred in the 800 block of South 17th Street, where a victim’s credit card was stolen.
That same day, the card was reportedly used without authorization near South Orange Avenue and South 10th Street.
Detectives working on the case are seeking to question Bennett, described as having a dark brown complexion, standing 5’3” tall, weighing 130 pounds, and wearing a nose ring.
Director Miranda has urged anyone with information on Bennett’s location to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
The investigation remains ongoing, and the public is encouraged to come forward with any relevant details.
