Authorities in Belleville are searching for a stolen vehicle and have issued a "Be On the Lookout" (BOLO) alert to neighboring departments.
According to police, the incident occurred early Saturday morning at approximately 2 a.m. when a 2024 black Toyota 4-Runner was reported stolen in the Washington Avenue area.
The vehicle bears New Jersey registration "M13-VCR" and was last seen heading into Newark.
Belleville Police are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the vehicle to Newark Police or their local authorities.
The investigation into the theft is ongoing.
