Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old injured in Paterson.
According to a statement from Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-in-Charge Patrick Murray, officers responded to reports of gunfire near Market Street and East 19th Street around 5:03 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
Upon arrival, officers found the teenager suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and officials have stated that additional details will be shared as they become available.
