Newark authorities are requesting assistance from the public in identifying four male suspects linked to a robbery that took place on the evening of Friday, December 20, 2024.
According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., the robbery occurred around 8:50 p.m. near Lake Street and Bloomfield Avenue.
The suspects approached the victim and, at gunpoint, stole a Michael Kors bookbag containing an iPhone and ATM cards.
Director Miranda is urging anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspects to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS.
The Newark Police Department continues to investigate the incident and encourages the community to come forward with any relevant details to aid in the apprehension of those responsible.
