Essex County Lottery Ticket Wins $2 Million in Powerball Drawing

A New Jersey Lottery ticket sold in Nutley has matched five white balls and the multiplier, securing a $2 million prize in the Powerball drawing on Saturday, December 21.  AdThe winning ticket was purchased at Lucky 7 Deli and Food Mart, located at 397 Centre St. in Nutley, Essex County.

The winning numbers were 01, 12, 17, 21, and 58, with the Powerball number 01 and a Power Play multiplier of 3X.  

In addition to the Nutley winner, another player using Jackpot.com matched four white balls and the multiplier, winning $150,000.  

A third winning ticket was sold in Middletown, Monmouth County, where a player matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000.

That ticket was sold at ShopRite #634, located at 1500 State Route 35.  

While these players scored significant prizes, no one claimed the jackpot in the multi-state Powerball game.AdThe jackpot now stands at approximately $103 million for tonight’s drawing.
