ALERT: Police Seek Help in Finding Missing Emotionally Unstable Newark Man

Police and officials in Newark are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Taijher Cosby, a 34-year-old man who has been reported missing and is currently experiencing a mental health crisis.Isaiah HouseCosby was last seen on December 17 near the 600 block of South 12th Street in Newark.

Described as slim and standing 6’2”, he was wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt under a beige thermal, and a faded black jean jacket at the time of his disappearance.  

Authorities believe Cosby may visit areas including Roselle, Linden, East Orange, Irvington, Paterson, and other parts of Newark.  

Cosby’s family is urging the public to keep an eye out for him and contact his mother, Tafshier Cosby, at 908-494-3364 if they spot him.

His loved ones emphasize that he is non-violent and should be approached with care and understanding.  

Community members are encouraged to share information widely, check with local shelters, and report any sightings immediately.  

“Every moment counts, and we appreciate any help in bringing Taijher home safely,” his family said in a statement.
