You never expect to win, but when you do, would you know what to do with, say, $500,000?
NJ Lottery officials stated that a Middlesex County retiree is facing that very question today after by playing the Neon Cash Party $10 Scratch-Off last week.
The player purchased the ticket at Ace Golden Liquors, 7119-21 Bergenline Ave., North Bergen, Hudson County, and won the second of the game’s three $500,000 top prizes, lottery officials said. One more top prize remains.
“I didn’t believe it. I had to look at it a few times and then made sure with the (phone app),” said the frequent player before reflecting on what to do with the money.
“I gotta think about what I’ll do with it. It’s a little something extra, and it gives me the opportunity to do something” without worrying about the cost.
