Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the suspect who shoplifted six wigs from a store on December 6.
Newark Public Safety Director Emmanuel Miranda Sr. stated that at approximately 4:28 p.m., the female suspect entered Tommy’s Wigs in the 90 block of Market Street.
Once inside, she took the wigs and left after exchanging words with the manager, who recognized her from a previous incident, Newark Police said.
Director Miranda Sr. urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
