Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 4:36 a.m. on December 9, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 36th Street and 20th Avenue on a report of a shooting.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that Police located a 34-year-old male victim from Paterson.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds, according to Passaic County officials.
Paterson Police said that a potential crime scene was located in the area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, oifficials say.
Passaic County officials stated that more information will be released once it becomes available.
