Family Connections Marks 145 Years of Transforming Lives in Northern NJ

Family Connections, a cornerstone of mental health and social support services in Northern New Jersey, is celebrating 145 years of service.

Founded in 1879, the organization has been a steadfast advocate for building healthier and more resilient communities.

Ad As it commemorates this significant milestone, Family Connections is urging community members to support its mission by contributing to its annual year-end fundraising appeal, which ensures its vital programs can continue to thrive for future generations.  

For nearly a century and a half, Family Connections has been a beacon of hope for individuals and families confronting life’s toughest challenges. The organization has addressed critical issues such as trauma, mental illness, addiction, domestic violence, and child abuse. Its extensive services, which range from family counseling and school-based programs to support for veterans and family reunification, are tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community.

Family In 2024 alone, Family Connections has provided resources, guidance, and support to thousands of people across the region, helping them build stronger and more stable futures.
