Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who took a package from the front steps of a home on November 26.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. stated that at approximately 10:57 a.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video riding a white bicycle in the 80 block of Carolina Avenue.
He stopped at the victim’s residence, walked up to the front steps, and removed the package before riding away on the bicycle, Newark Police said.
Director Miranda Sr. urges anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
