My friends and family in Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to another frigid morning, with temperatures plunging into the 20s as early as 4:30 AM.Those heading out for early church services or morning walks will face wind chill values between 15 and 25, making it feel more like the teens.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny, but the high will barely reach 40 degrees.
Westerly winds at 8 to 13 mph, gusting as high as 26 mph, will add an extra bite to the air.
Tonight, the cold snap continues with mostly clear skies and lows around 25 degrees.
Bundle up well if you're venturing outdoors to stay warm in these frigid conditions.
Enjoy your Sunday safely.
