Bundle Up, NJ: Freezing Start to Small Business Saturday

North Jersey is waking up to a frigid 31 degrees this Small Business Saturday, but it feels even colder with wind chill factors making it seem well below freezing.AdResidents venturing out to support local businesses today should dress warmly, as the brisk conditions will persist throughout the day.

NWS meteorologists said Morristown, Sussex County, and Haledon are particularly cold, with temperatures lingering in the upper 20s.

Even sunshine won’t offer much relief, with high temperatures in the Newark area expected to peak around 41 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters said wind chill values will range between 25 and 35 degrees, with west winds blowing at 7 to 10 mph and gusts reaching up to 25 mph.

Tonight will be even colder, with mostly clear skies and lows around 25 degrees. Wind chills will make it feel like 20 to 25 degrees, setting the stage for an even colder Sunday.AdAs the holiday shopping season continues, remember to bundle up and enjoy supporting local businesses across New Jersey!
