An armed carjacking that took place this evening has Police in Newark looking for the suspects that pointed a gun at the driver who was occupying a black 4-door 2008 BMW 325i with a reported NJ license plate number " A40-DCS"
The suspects fled southbound on South 6th Street when police spotted the vehicle in the area of South Orange Ave. and South 9th Street. Police followed the vehicle until it reached the area of Hawthorne Ave. and Wolcott Terrace where they track of the vehicle.
There were no injuries reported.
