Mercer County authorities are searching for a suspect involved in an overnight shooting that left a man injured in Trenton.
The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on the 900 block of Lamberton Street. Police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a male victim suffering from two gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, and the unidentified victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
His current condition has not been disclosed.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident, combing the scene for evidence to determine a motive for the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
