Paterson Shooting Victim Dropped Off at Bergen County Hospital

Authorities have began their investigation into a shooting that occurred in Paterson, New Jersey, during the early hours of November 25. AdAccording to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-in-Charge Patrick Murray, officers responded to Hackensack University Medical Center at approximately 12:15 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting victim.  

The victim, a 27-year-old man from Elmwood Park, had arrived at the hospital via private vehicle and was treated for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police determined the shooting took place near McLean Boulevard and 18th Avenue in Paterson, where a potential crime scene was later identified.  

The investigation has since been completed, and authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to contact the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office at 1-877-370-PCPO or email tips@passaiccountynj.org.
