A person is recovering in serious but stable condition after being stabbed early Friday morning in Paterson, authorities said.
Police responded to reports of an injured individual around 3:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Pearl Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from stab wounds.
Emergency Medical Services transported the unidentified person to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain under investigation as police work to identify and locate the suspect responsible.
No additional details have been released at this time. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Paterson Police Department.
