A 37-year-old inmate at the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly has been charged with the murder of his cellmate, officials announced. Rondale Holloman, a resident of Burlington Township, is accused of killing 74-year-old Kenneth Bulle of Mount Holly in an incident that occurred in the early hours of November 14.
The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office disclosed that Holloman faces a first-degree murder charge.
The case is now set to be presented to a grand jury to determine whether an indictment will follow.
The deadly assault came to light when corrections officers discovered the attack inside the facility.
Despite intervention, Bulle was pronounced dead at the scene. A subsequent autopsy by Dr. Ian Hood, the Burlington County Medical Examiner, confirmed that Bulle’s death resulted from manual strangulation.
Both men were incarcerated on separate charges at the time of the incident. Holloman had been in custody since September, facing a second-degree aggravated assault charge.
Bulle was detained in October on charges of attempted murder and weapons offenses.
Authorities emphasized that all individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
